Pysanka is the traditional art of Ukranian Easter egg decorating. My grandmother Joan is a master at this, and she was kind enough to pass down her knowledge to me! The process involves using melted wax to create designs on the egg and then dyeing it different colors. At the end, you “blow” the egg to empty out the yolk. I am a beginner, but I already love this!
