Maidens

This is a mixed media drawing that is based off a Gustav Klimt painting called “The Virgin” (1912). I loved the colors and patterns in the original so I decided to take a stab at reproducing it with colored pencil, ink pen, watercolor, and metallic pens. I also deviated from the original by adding more diversity among the women.
