August 2019. This is an oil pastel portrait of my sister, Laurel. First time working with oil pastels! Not gonna lie they are kind of a pain to work with- it’s so easy to mix together the wrong colors and end up with a muddy appearance. In the end though I’m happy with the way it turned out!
